About SillyBilly
When Harry Franklin-Adams became a mother in 2005 she found a real lack of beautiful, affordable art on the market suitable for the nursery playroom. After making a few rough-and-ready fabric pictures for her first two children, Harry decided to scale up her production and launch SillyBilly Fabric Art. With her creative eye and practical hand she was soon crafting scores of pictures using a selection of children's fabrics and contemporary deep-edge, chunky artist's canvases to striking effect.
Such was the success of the business that when Harry had her third baby in 2007 the little darling was spotted asleep under the SillyBilly Fabric Art stall at Sales and Charity Fairs around the country. The collection is now travelling around a little less and is available online meaning that Emily gets to sleep in a bed more often!
All this is a far cry from Harry's job pre-motherhood, marketing consumer products for a large multi-national based in Slough; where she longed to be a bit more creative and a bit less on the M4. Harry now works from home in southwest London with the help of her husband James and the hindrance of her 3 children.
